The 80th Birthday party of Traffic Manager Esko Ruokonen.
Esko Ruokonen's 80th Birthday was celebrated on Saturday the 6th of September in Kerava. Over 60 friends and colleagues came to enjoy the party and talk about the past times.
Esko worked over 38 years for Pynnonen Transport Group and during the early years of rapid expansion of the company, he played an important part in traffic planning and co-ordination.
His trust worthiness and helpful attitude made many customers feel that they were the most important ones. He was also a respected manager among our increasing staff and an efficient equipment controller.
During the times before the computer and the mobile telephone, none of our over 100 trucks and trailers went missing.
His clear and demanding instructions to the staff earned him respect also outside our own personnel.
We congratulate Esko, his wife Eini and daughters Eija and Elise !
