Digia Logistic ERP System
Digia Logistics is an ERP system for transport and logistics companies. It consists of stand-alone products that meet the needs of different areas of logistics. Each product comprises independent modules, some of them common to several products. Thanks to this modular structure, the solution can be adapted to the individual needs and environments of customers.
Scalable to needs
The Digia Logistics product range can be used as a light, single-user application just as well as an operational information system for big organisations. The most stripped-down version of the system consists of a single product feature, such as export consignment documentation, offered by enabling the relevant modules in the Digia ProSped forwarding system. A comprehensive version of the Logistics system encompasses all of the operational information system features that a company involved in international transport and forwarding operations could possibly need.
Fully integrated and suitable for integration
The system offers complete internal integration and can be easily integrated with the company’s other information systems, enabling real-time data transfer both within the solution and between applications. The product family features versatile interfaces, which are used to link the applications to other information systems, such as materials management and financial systems, or to partners’ systems through EDI connections.User-friendly solution - real-time operations Special emphasis was placed on user-friendliness when designing Digia Logistics. The visual user interface makes system use as straightforward as possible. The data structures that the system processes are presented in a tree structure, which shows the events of the running function and is automatically updated in realtime. To facilitate efficient way to type in large amounts of data, all functions can be easily carried out without the mouse.
Documents are printed on laser printers using form templates included in the system. Matrix printing on pre-printed forms is also possible. Customised form templates are simple to make and can be easily linked to the system. As an alternative to printing, forms such as arrival notices and forwarding instructions can be sent to the recipient by fax or e-mail. If required, the data content can be transferred in machine-readable format from Digia Logistics products as an EDI or XML message.
